Photo Film > SP82

The Sprinter 82 colour printer brings new ideas and technology to the medium output colour printer. It is easy to operate and this results in consistently high quality and quantity output with minimum operator fatigue. Many of the Sprinter’s features are normally found only on more costly and complicated machines.

The Sprinter 82 features several operational modes and is equally suited to the Minilab, the photo studio, the Prolab, or as a reprint, roll film or enlarging printer for the large photofinisher. Negative handling is excellent: the films are advanced without moving the negative carrier. The slope unit gives a very high first time print yield.
  • High output
  • Daylight operation
  • Optional slope unit
  • Low operator fatigue
  • High speed film handling
  • High intensity video lamp
  • Multi paper/film channels
  • Push button density correction
  • Continuously adjustable magnification
The printer will handle negatives from 110 to 6 cm x 9 cm and produces prints up to 8” x 10” (20 cm x 20 cm). Each cropping size is initially set with a focussing screen and reflex mirror. Subsequently, the motor driven paper plane and manually adjusted lens deck can be reset using the digital position indicators.

The controls are ergonomically designed. Push button density and exposure controls, four balance channels, repeat unit and exposure timer are standard.

An optional slope correction unit, with built-in timer and automatic mean exposure time calculator, corrects for under and over exposed negatives to optimise first time print output.
